Going the distance. Rogers LTE wireless comes to the Burquitlam Tunnel

Earlier this week, Rogers completed installation of the LTE wireless network in the 2.5 km Burquitlam Tunnel on the Evergreen Extension. This marks the last section of SkyTrain that was without cell coverage since service expanded to the Dunsmuir and Edmonds tunnels in July 2016, and New Westminster this past August.

All doors are better than one! All-door boarding comes to the 95 & 96 B-Lines

Calling all 95 B-Line SFU/Burrard Station and 96 B-Line Guildford/Newton Exchange users… this one’s for you!

Beginning January 1, 2018, when boarding the 95 B-Line or 96 B-Line you’ll be able to pick a door, any door when boarding the bus! That’s right, we’re piloting all-door boarding on two additional routes in the New Year.

Special Holiday Schedule – December 2017

From December 18 to December 31, 2017, several bus routes will operate on a reduced service to reflect lower ridership to post-secondary schools.You’ll want to check the transit service changes page for the full details. Now that post-secondary schools are out for the holidays, some bus route schedules and frequencies will change to reflect the lower ridership. School and university trips will return to normal during the first week of January.

‘Tis the season for toys! Toys for Tots returns for 32nd year

Sparky the Elf, on behalf of TransLink and its operating companies, upped the ante today by committing to a donation of 3.500 unwrapped toys to the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau (LMCB) this holiday season. That’s 500 more than last year’s commitment!
