I think that Westjet and A/C should look into promoting low-cost last minute flight fares. The Canada line will allow for low cost and easy transit out to YVR, making the idea of zipping out to the airport and hopping on a weekend flight to San Fran, Portland, Maui, or Vegas much more appealing.

Wish I could be there but I fear huge crowds and I tend to get cases of claustrophobia sometimes…will be on the Line on Tuesday to ride the rails and get some neat snapshots!

Oh, and Jhenifer, I’m working on a musical montage of my trip on the Canada Line (once I’ve been on it and I’ve gotten some shots), hopefully it will be good and that you will be able to share it with everyone else once it’s finished! ^^

Here’s hoping that it isn’t -too- busy. I was there on Millenium Line opening day and for the most part it wasn’t hard trying to get on and off trains, but the line was also running full service on opening day and of course you could get on a millenium line train before Columbia.

I’ll be trying to get in as much as I can, though I’ll probably revisit the line later in the week for some better snapshots.
