Nike Dunk Women feature a grey suede construction along the upper, along with a metallic leather design on the Nike swoosh, as well as purple contrast stitching.
A smooth suede design is also seen along the tongue and heel tab in a purple hue, while black leather graces the inner lining. Finishing off the Nike Dunk Sb XXV Mychal Thompson design is a matching grey midsole, and dark colored outsole.
We recently saw a pair of Nike Sb Low’s with a 3M swoosh on them. For those of you who didn’t get enough of the glowy stuff looks like Nike decided to appease with this 3M/Black color way.
The Women Nike Dunks shoes feature a full 3M reflective upper that is held down by an accenting black. The resulting contrast is striking to say the least and it creates a pretty cool effect.

OK…. for me, I have a weakness for electronics. I love how the CLine joins Best Buy and the Best Buy owned Future Shop at Lansdowne, Cambie and Robson. I’m getting misty-eyed. Looking forward to Boxing Day!

…and of course Oakridge Mall, so good to have access to a supermarket and other stores on the way home from work without going out of my way, made a lot of difference!

I’d easily recommend the Marimekko store on Hamilton Street which is very close to the Yaletown-Roundhouse station.

Marimekko has a pretty good selection of merchandise from this Finnish design house: men’s and women’s clothing, housewares, textiles, linens, fabrics. Not as spectacular as the flagship store in Helsinki and the men’s items can be a bit boring, but it will do.

Doesn’t the Home Depot near Gilmore Station also have a little Harvey’s inside? I haven’t been there for a while, but I seem to recall that almost every Home Depot in Canada has a Harvey’s.

Re Arroy-D, the Vancouver Courier link mentions a clarification that the restaurant’s landlord has given an extension to the owner; also, their web site is still operational. Maybe someone living nearby could verify the restaurant’s closing. I don’t want to contradict another posting, on the other hand I don’t want to see potential customers unnecessarily (and accidentally) scared away.

Another great little restaurant near Broadway-City Hall is Lucky Noodle at 546 W. Broadway (about 1/2 block west of Cambie). They have Asian noodle dishes of all persuasions, i.e. Chinese, Thai, Korean, Szechuan, etc. The portions are invariably huge and the meat & veggies they use are always super-fresh. Most entrees are about $8 or $9. Extensive vegetarian options. The owner, who is a most pleasant fellow, does most of the serving himself. My hubby & I come all the way from North Vancouver to eat there because it’s such nice food & service, and very affordable. Will go there even more now with the Canada Line up & running!

If you’re looking for good Thai around the Broadway-City Hall stop, on Cambie down at 7th is Chao Phraya. $7 lunch specials. Yummy.
