It’s docking at the North Terminal (Lonsdale Quay). The west side roof has already been modified to accommodate the new SeaBus.

do you know where its going to dock? i heard that the seabus sits too high off the water and will hit the seabus terminal…

John — I’m not sure what happened with the cake! The photographs came from Charlotte, who works with CMBC communications. It did look delicious though.

Kelly: I haven’t heard of anything special planned for the arrival at 2:30 p.m. Not to say that people aren’t excited — I know SeaBus is very happy to see it!

Jimbo: Check out the comments in this post for full detail, but here’s a brief overview. The plan for the SeaBuses is dependent on the funding determined by the Mayors’ Council at the end of October. The max level funding (around 450m) would give us 3 SeaBuses. At the other two levels of funding (130m, no new funding) this new SeaBus would replace one of the existing vessels. The other older vessel would then eventually be replaced by another newly built SeaBus. (As of now, though, our CEO has talked about expecting the 130m level of funding.)

What is the plan for the seabuses again? Is the Breeze going to replace one of the existing vessels or will the service be increased to three?

I will try and see what I can do tomorrow……

Just to inform other photographers who may be thinking of going tomorrow – you will be shooting against the sun, maybe not RIGHT into the sun, depending on which way / how does the boat approach the terminal (Lonsdale Quay?), so keep in mind there’s a risk associated with the potential photo op!

Yaaaahooooo!!!! :D I can’t wait to see the new SeaBus :D One question though, are they going to have the same new seating like the new buses and SkyTrain?
