Weekend bus reroutes for Greek Day, the Ladner Village Market, and more – Sat June 26 to Sun June 27

Greek Day, the International Jazz Festival, the Ladner Village Market, the North Delta Family Day Parade, the Scotiabank half marathon… that’s just a short list of the many events on this weekend, and a number of buses will be rerouted to accommodate them!

Bus routes affected include the 4, 22, 25, 28, 33, 41, 50, 312, C21, and C86. See below for full details!

Saturday June 26 and Sunday June 27

Effective all day on both days, the City of Vancouver will be hosting the International Jazz Festival on Cambie, Water & Powell Streets. The following route will be detoured: # 50.

Sunday June 27

Effective all day on Sunday, City of Vancouver will be hosting Greek Day 2010 on Broadway between MacDonald & Waterloo. The following routes will be detoured: # 09, 17 & 99B-Line.

From 6 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. approximately, the Scotia Bank Half Marathon will take place. The race will start at Thunderbird Stadium (UBC) then via Wesbrook Mall, 16th to Sasamat then back to Marine Dr., 4th, Highbury, Pt. Grey, Cornwall, Burrard Bridge, Pacific, Beach to Stanley Park. The following routes will be detoured: # C21, 04, 22, 25, 33 & 41.

From 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., City of Vancouver will host the Fire Fighters Charitable Ride which will assemble & commence on Boundary Road between Lougheed Hwy & 1st Ave. The following route will be detoured: # 28.

From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Ladner Village Market will be open for the second weekend of their 12th season, necessitating the closure of 48th Avenue. The following route will be detoured: # C86.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the North Delta Lions Club will be holding the annual North Delta Family Day Parade. The parade will start at the Sungod Arena at 77th & 112th then via 112th, 84th, 114th to North Delta Recreation Park. The following route will be detoured: # 312.
