The Museum of Vancouver is offering an “out of the box” exploration of Vancouver’s built environment near public transit, on Saturday, February 19, 2011.

Join us for an “out of the box” exploration of Vancouver’s built environment, via public transit, in Part Two of “This is Not an Architectural Speaker’s Series.”

What does it look like? Three mini-walks and talks in three separate transit locales with some of Vancouver’s most engaging architects and urban planners.

Mini-Walk A:
“The Path(s) Not Taken: Viaducts, Expressways, and Almost Vancouvers.”

“Speed and the Shape of the City: Vancouver’s Evolving Transitscapes”

Mini-Walk C:
“Evolution in Station-Area Planning the Cambie Corridor”

Mini-Walks are Saturday, February 19, from 10:30 – 11:30AM, Pub Wrapup at 12-2:30PM
EACH Mini-Walk takes place at the same time, and is limited to 25 people per location (75 in total). The wrapup is open to an additional 25 registrants.
