All doors are better than one! All-door boarding comes to the 95 & 96 B-Lines

All doors are better than one! All-door boarding comes to the 95 & 96 B-Lines

Calling all 95 B-Line SFU/Burrard Station and 96 B-Line Guildford/Newton Exchange users… this one’s for you!

Beginning January 1, 2018, when boarding the 95 B-Line or 96 B-Line you’ll be able to pick a door, any door when boarding the bus! That’s right, we’re piloting all-door boarding on two additional routes in the New Year.

We expect all-door boarding will not only make your trip faster, but help improve reliability and increase overall comfort by allowing passengers to enter the bus through any door. As this is a pilot program, we’re eager for you to try it out and let us know how it’s going! Stay tuned to the Buzzer blog in January for details on how you can share your all-door experience with us.

Remember, the bus is a fare-paid zone. Passengers paying with cash should line up for the front doors.

Got your Compass card topped up and ready to go? Get in line for the front, middle or back doors – just remember to tap in on the Compass readers at the door while boarding and then move to the back of the bus to ensure the maximum amount of space is left for everyone trying to board.

Still need some help? Watch DerrickThePlanner and DanielleThePlanner share all-door boarding in 4 simple steps!

Did you ride the 95 or 96 B-Line during the all-door boarding pilot? Let us know about your experience at translink.ca/alldoorboarding!
