More than 40,000 customers use Granville Station every day, making it one of our busiest stations on the system!

That’s why we’ll be adding two additional fare gates to the Dunsmuir Street entrance to ensure it continues to meet the needs of our growing ridership.

The Dunsmuir Street entrance will close and there will be no elevator service at the station from the end of service on Thursday, March 29 until the start of service on Tuesday, April 3 so crews can install the new fare gates.

During the closure, customers can access the station through both the Granville Street and Seymour Street entrances. Expo Line customers requiring the use of an elevator will need to go to Stadium–Chinatown Station or Burrard Station. SkyTrain Attendants will be present at Granville Station to assist customers during the work.

We recognize that this is an impact to our customers and we thank everyone for their patience while we improve capacity at Granville Station.
