#MyTransLink – April 3

#MyTransLink photo of Cherry Blossom trees at Burrard SkyTrain Station

The blooming of the Sakura (cherry blossom tree) is a welcome sign that Spring has sprung! In fact, Vancouver has a whole Cherry Blossom Festival [1] taking place from April 3 – 29, 2018, which celebrates the reawakening in our community of all that makes us alive and human. This edition of #MyTransLink, our weekly photo series showcasing your best pictures of life in and around transit in our region, challenged you to capture the many cherry blossom trees around Metro Vancouver! Take a look at the week that was and make sure to scroll to the bottom to grab the theme for the upcoming week.

Just for #MyTranslink and all my fellow @translinkbc fans… since MyTransLink this week is all about cherry blossoms, this is a photo from my @sigmaphoto 18-32mm ART lens attached to a @nikonusa #D5300 of Cherry Blossoms at Vancouver’s Waterfront Station. #Vancouver #vancouverbc #Canada #CherryBlossoms [22]

How many people pass through Burrard Station during the evening rush hour? I bet at least 74% of them stopped to take photos of the cherry blossoms. #mytranslink #cherryblossom @translinkbc #burrardstation [24]
