Buzzer blog internet outage for 30 min, 8 p.m. Wed. Apr 29
April 29, 2009
As the title of this post suggests, the Buzzer blog will be offline for 30 minutes, starting at 8.p.m. on Wednesday April 29.
So don’t worry if you can’t find the Buzzer at 8: some maaintenance is being done, and it will be back up circa 8:30 p.m. or so.
Since it’s for the environment, when trolley buses head back to VTC they can carry passengers to Marpole Loop then return to VTC. Wouldn’t that save the earth?
isnt that a security/liability issue if the bus is heading back to VTC if the sign says “Sorry, Not in service?”
Hey, I’ve asked about the questions you guys are talking about.
Passengers aren’t taken to Marpole Loop before buses return to VTC because there is no turning wire in the loop to reposition the bus, etc. The bus would have to go around a long block to get back to the yard. And for Not in Service (NIS) buses, when they are NIS, they have less running time allotted to make their trip, because they are travelling without making any stops.
