Granville Station in Caprica!
April 22, 2009
Hey, check out this clip from Caprica, shot in Granville Station last year! (Caprica is an upcoming sci-fi TV show spun off from Battlestar Galactica: its two-hour pilot was just put out on DVD.)
Fun facts: the train is totally computer-generated. The scene at the end involving getting on and off the train were done using a custom-built set in a studio. You can check out this on-set report from an extra in the Granville Station scene for more!
(Also, a TransLink bus was spotted in the Battlestar Galactica finale: check it out here, screencapped by magsec4!)
The train is made entirely by a computer. The scene at the end where people get on and off the train was filmed in a studio on a set that was built just for that scene.
I’m glad they discovered Earth, but it was a bit silly since they had already discovered an Earth. After four years of brutal struggle for survival, it seems highly improbable that humans would send their remaining assets into the sun.
I think this is a fantastic article, and I really appreciate you letting me know about it. That is precisely what I had hoped to find, and I really hope that you will keep sharing content that is of such high quality in the years to come.
