SkyTrain ticket machines are cash only from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. tonight
April 23, 2009
You may have seen the signs about this at the SkyTrain stations already, but here’s a quick reminder.
SkyTrain Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs) will undergo a scheduled upgrade beginning Thursday, April 23 at 10 pm and ending at approximately 5:30am, Friday, April 24. During that time, the TVMs will accept cash only. Debit and credit card transactions will not be processed.
We’ve scheduled the system upgrade for a time that will cause the least disruption or inconvenience, so hopefully this will affect very few of you out there.
Can that notice (& all future Customer Alerts) be placed on the website’s new Alerts section?
By the way – LOVE the Alerts.
I’ve sent this along to Customer Information – their department updates the Alerts section!
Oops, apparently this entry thinks I’m Bryn (I’m really not, I swear).
On another skytrain topic: it’s the feature story on wikipedia today!
Yes indeed! I tweeted about it earlier. I can put a little update on the site here too :)
Dan: the cash-only item is now on the Alerts page! Great success! http://www.translink.ca/en/Utilities/Alerts.aspx
I sent this to Customer Information because their department is in charge of keeping the Alerts section up to date.
