A dispatch from Yaletown-Roundhouse
Sze-Wan, a TransLink staffer and transit host down at Yaletown-Roundhouse, passed along this lovely story to share.
I wanted to pass along an interesting one from Yaletown. A lady came to me outside the Yaletown station on Saturday afternoon asking me to contact Transit Police. She said someone had stolen her hockey tickets. She was going to the Latvia/Slovakia game at 4:30. She was quite frantic. I called Marta, my coordinator, and she contacted the host command centre. We took down her info. While I waited for Marta to call me back, the lady decided to walk down Mainland St. to see if she had dropped it along the way. Twenty minutes later, her husband came back and told me they had found her tickets. Someone found them and returned them to the ticket office. Happy ending. Can you believe it? It is another amazing story of how honest people are.
Hi Jhen! If you happen to have any more of the 2010(Olympic)Metro Vancouver pocket maps, RTC is completely out of them… We received like maybe 10 boxes about a month ago now… All long gone…
And, Timetables never last very long at RTC either… We usually run out in less than 2 weeks after receiving any…
THANX
Sean: I’ve passed your request on, hopefully you will get some more soon!
