Transit host JoAnn deserves a medal!

If we at TransLink could give out Olympic medals, one would certainly go to JoAnn Woodhall.
Why? Despite breaking her arm last week, JoAnn has gotten right back up and has kept on working as a transit host for the entire Games period!
On top of that, JoAnn was also an integral part of our pre-Games effort: she helped downtown businesses reduce car traffic for the Olympics.
So a huge thanks, JoAnn: you’re a Games champion in our books!
I recently broke my arm, too! I was visiting friends down in the States, and the East Coast there was hit by big snow storms. I slid on some black ice and fell on my arm. JoAnn must certainly rewarded, from personal experience it’s hard living with a broken arm!
I’ll pass your note along to JoAnn — she will definitely appreciate it :)
When this happened, for me there really was no question. The best place to be was out at the SkyTrain stations, helping visitors and residents get where they want to go and have the fantastic experience that taking transit in this wonderful city affords them. Thanks so much ‘ericmk’ for your kind words. All the members of the transit family at TransLink are doing a stellar job! Blessed that I could be a part of it.

Go Canada!
JoAnn, from the smile in your picture the arm has not slown you down at all. I hear you might become a jetsetter, if you take that offer in England. Nephew James is awesome and a lot of fun.
