These notices have come out today: just thought I would pass them along!

Maintenance work at Granville Station and Commercial-Broadway Station, Tue March 23 and Wed March 24

Maintenance work will take place Tues. March 23 and Wed. March 24 at two SkyTrain Stations. This work will affect people who require the use of the elevators.

Tuesday March 23

GRANVILLE STATION: the Dunsmuir Street entrance will be closed for the entire service day and remain closed all day Wednesday. The elevator from Dunsmuir to the SkyTrain platform will also be out of service during that time.

Since there is no security (red) phone at street level on Dunsmuir, additional SkyTrain Attendants will be on hand to assist customers who require elevator service.

Customers may also wish to use Burrard or Stadium-Chinatown Station.

COMMERCIAL-BROADWAY STATION: the elevator from the Ticket Vending Machine area on the north side of Broadway to the overhead walkway to Platforms 3 & 4 (formerly known as “Broadway”) will be closed from 9am – 3pm.

Customers needing the elevator may use the one off the 10th Avenue Entrance to the south end of the upper platform.

Wed. March 24

GRANVILLE STATION: the closure of the Dunsmuir Street entrance and the elevator will continue until the close of service and is expected to re-open on Thursday March 25.

COMMERCIAL-BROADWAY STATION: the elevator from the Ticket Vending Machine area on the north side of Broadway to Platforms 1 & 2 (formerly “Commercial”) will be closed from 9am-3pm.

Customers at Commercial-Broadway who require the elevator should contact a SkyTrain Attendant for assistance; inbound customers should get off at Renfrew or VCC-Clark Station and use the security phone for assistance.

Pattullo Bridge lane pattern change for Wed March 24 and Thu March 25

Due to lighting replacement work, the Pattullo Bridge overnight lane closures will be slightly altered on Wednesday, March 24 and Thursday, March 25.

Lighting will be replaced in the southbound direction on Wednesday between 10pm – 5am (Wednesday), so the southbound curb lane will be closed rather than the inside lane. The Northbound lane closures will remain the same, keeping one lane closed between opposing directions of travel.

On Thursday between 10pm & 5am, the work will be in the northbound direction, so the northbound curb lane will be closed.

Please use extra caution, as workers and equipment will be on the bridge deck during these periods.
