I do not like the lack of service the 240 route provides from downtown to the Northshore in the evening. Half hour service is not enough if you want us to leave our cars at home on Northshore. Also the last thing you want to see is ” SORRY BUS FULL ” so you have to wait another 30 minutes. I have also waited for this bus for 45 to 56 minutes at night because it got off schedule and you skip a loop! so it is 90 minutes from beginning attempt to leave downtown until I get home and in the evening it is a 13 minute drive. Also there should be a direct bus from the Lonsdale area to North Burnaby sky train station at Brentwood and then on to Metrotown. Getting to North Burnaby by car from Lonsdale is 14 minutes by all the bus waiting and changing it is 90 minutes. You cannot stop the driving and traffic on the bridges unless you move people faster and Phibbs and Kootaney exchanges are too much time in travel. Getting on and off Northshore has to be improved.
Hi Barbara, I appreciate your concerns, but as said on Facebook, this is not the forum to submit complaints.
Here is the link to Customer Relations so they can investigate further and forward to the appropriate department.
