Extra service for the PNE, ways to save and more!

We’re adding extra service to the PNE!
Catch the 16 PNE and 210 PNE specials to get to The Fair!

The Fair at the PNE returns for its 108th year, Aug. 18 to Sept. 3, 11 a.m. till late (closed Aug. 20 and 27). As always, in addition to the usual service in the area, we’re adding extra service to take you to and from the PNE! Read on for the details.

  • The 16 PNE special runs between the Expo Line’s 29th Avenue Station, the Millennium Line’s Renfrew Station and the Pacific Coliseum. Along this corridor, the extra service provides an additional 4-5 buses per hour between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 a.m.
  • The 210 PNE special runs between Phibbs Exchange and the Pacific Coliseum. Along this corridor, the extra provides an additional 2 buses per hour between 10 a.m. and midnight.
  • On Aug. 21 and 28 (free gate admission days), there will be additional service from 29th Avenue Station (route 16), Phibbs Exchange (route 210) and Coquitlam Central Station (route 160) to the PNE during the morning.

There are a number of buses that will get you to the PNE: the 14, 16, 95 B-Line, 210 and 211. If you’re coming from downtown, you can take the 14 Hastings, 16 29th Avenue Station or 95 B-Line to SFU. Coming from SkyTrain’s Expo and Millennium Line? Take the 16 PNE or 16 Arbutus. From the North Shore, you can take the 210 PNE, 210 Vancouver or 211 Vancouver.

Heroes’ Opening Weekend

Aug. 18 and 19, from 11 a.m. to late. Free gate admission for retired or current first responders and a guest.

Toonie Days

Aug. 18 and 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wear your favourite sports jersey or band t-shirt and get in for just $2.

Free Gate Admission for all Guests

Aug. 21 and 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free gate admission sponsored by YVR.

Wild Ride Wednesdays

August 22 & 29, 11am – 1pm. Purchase 2 Ride Passes for the price of 1! Only Available onsite on the day of the promotion.

Library Day

August 22, 11am – Late. Show any BC library card and photo ID to receive $6 gate admission.

BC Lions Ticket Holders

August 25, 11am – 1pm. Your August 25 BC Lions ticket gets you into the Fair at the PNE on game day (Aug 25) for FREE before 1 pm

Seniors’ Day

August 23, 11am – Late. Seniors 65+ receive FREE gate admission and FREE Ferris Wheel rides (West Coast Wheel)

Out at the Fair Day

August 30, 11am – Late. Purchase Pride socks at Vancouver Pride Weekend events or the Fair Gate at Hastings & Renfrew streets, and get into the Fair for FREE.

Labour Day

Labour Day Celebration presented by Vancouver & District Labour Council. Union members can contact their local office for information.

BCAA Members savings

Special Member Savings on online Fair Gate & Ride Passes.

Vancity Member Rate

Every day, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Vancity members receive $8 gate admission

After Dark Gate Pass

After 9pm nightly, purchase a Fair Gate Pass for $6.
