Lift Breakfast Bakery

This North Van breakfast café and bakery also serves breakfast all-day, with warm, wholesome breads, hand-made pastries, artisan breads, and coffee! Epic Grill Silogs

Location: 538 Ewen Avenue, New Westminster
Transit: Bus 104

If you’re a fan of this Filipino breakfast combination, this place is a must-try! If silogs are something you’ve never tried, this place is a MUST! The two main components of a silog are fried rice (sinangag) and eggs (itlog), and you add a third one to complete this heavenly combo – bacon, sausages, chicken, anything you like! Their ube (purple yam) milkshake is yet another must-have.

Yucca Tree Café

Location: 1347 Johnston Road, White Rock

If you’re in South Surrey, this little café is a must-visit. Enjoy breakfast that’s made from scratch and relax in their cozy décor. Portions are large for a pretty reasonable price too. Try their massive French toast platter!

Amigo Pancake House

Location: 2228 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam

This little hole-in-the-wall does more than just pancakes! Great breakfast, decent prices – what else can one ask for? You can also take the West Coast Express to Port Coquitlam station – this place is a short walk from there.

There’s a reason why breakfast is the most important meal of the day – it sets you up for the rest of the day. If you’re like me, you’ll love these little gems that make sure your first meal is sumptuous and hearty!

Are there any other amazing little breakfast spots that we missed? Which one is your favourite – we want to know!

Where is catch122???? They have to die for chicken thighs (brined) on top of waffles! The perfect mix of flavours along with very crunchy texture! I’d take a bucket of their brined chicken thighs to go. :)
