TransLink takes you to National Indigenous Peoples Day events

national indigenous people day

June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day and Canadians coast to coast will be celebrating the heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding achievements of the First Nations, Inuit and Metis peoples! While these groups have similarities, each group has some distinct differences that make them unique through cultural practice, languages and more.

Between June 16 and 28, there are a myriad National Indigenous Peoples Day events happening throughout Metro Vancouver! We’ve compiled a selection below — transit can get you to these events. Plan your trip using our Trip Planner, and sign up for Transit Alerts and know before you go.
