With a few precious weeks remaining of Vancouver’s summer, have you thought about how to spend the rest of those sunny days with your friends? With deep-fried goodness and pickled-flavoured cotton candy as the new food craze, make the most of the clear weather by using these ways to save at the PNE!
The PNE Fair is back this year until September 2 (closed August 26), open daily from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. or later. These are some deals you don’t want to miss, but be sure to plan ahead because each promo day is different.
1. 2-for-1 adult admission on Fridays from TransLink and Transport 2050
You can get 2-for-1 admission for adults (14-64 years of age) and seniors (65+ years of age) with a valid TransLink Compass card and other fare products. (Please note that the 2-for-1 admission does not apply for the PNE’s children admission rates.) This offer is only valid for August 23rd and 30th.
2. Free gate admission on August 20 and 27, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Guests are welcome to re-enter the gates prior to 1:00 p.m. without a hand stamp. This offer is only valid for August 20 and 27 and from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
3. Show your library card for $6 admission on August 21
The offer is only valid for August 21st, and it goes from 11:00 a.m. until late.
4. Wear your purchased Pride socks from the Vancouver Pride Society for free admission on August 29
All proceeds benefit the VANCOUVER PRIDE SOCIETY. this offer is only valid for August 29th, 11:00 a.m. until late.
5. Vancity Members get $8 gate adult admission
This deal is valid only on Saturdays, Sundays and Labour Day Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
