Take transit to VanPrideFest at Jonathan Rogers Park in Vancouver, July 30 – Aug. 1
Vancouver Pride Society is bringing VanPrideFest to Jonathan Rogers Park, July 30 – Aug. 1, 2021.
VanPrideFest is a series of free, open-air programming with community partners. The 10 different time slots are dedicated to the specificities of the local LGBTQAI2S+ community. Whether you are looking for drag, yoga, music, or to have a family-friendly picnic with live entertainment in the park, VanPrideFest has it all. Event organizers note the event will have strict COVID-19 protocols and safety plans in place, in accordance with all provincial health regulations.
TransLink is a proud supporting partner of the Vancouver Pride Festival. Our community outreach team will be at Jonathan Rogers Park all three days with our “Reconnect” bus.
Stop by to ask us about how we’re keeping the system clean as we reconnect the region to the people and places they love.
Have something to say? We’re all ears and want to hear your ideas on how we can improve your day-to-day transit experience.
The event is free, but registration is required as there is limited capacity available. Tickets will not be available at the gate and must be booked in advance of arrival. Visit vancouverpride.ca to view and register for these events and more.
Once you’ve registered, transit will take you there! Jonathan Rogers Park is located between Cambie Street and Main Street, one block north of W Broadway, making transit one of the best ways to get there. Here’s how:
- Ride the SkyTrain’s Canada Line to Broadway–City Hall stations and walk for about 10 minutes.
- Ride the 99 B-Line to Kingsway and E Broadway, or Cambie and W Broadway, and walk for about 10 minutes.
- Ride the 15 Cambie / Olympic Village Stn or 17 Oak / Downtown to Cambie and W Broadway, and walk for about 10 minutes.
- Ride the 19 Metrotown Stn / Stanley Park bus to Kingsway and E Broadway, and walk for about 10 minutes.
