If there’s one thing beyond transit that the staff here at The Buzzer is passionate about, it’s music. So, for I Love Transit Week, we’ve compiled a Spotify Playlist of our favourite transit oriented tunes!

This genre-spanning playlist takes music from all eras with the only qualifiers for entry being enjoyable and loosely related to transit. Where else can you listen to the Magic School Bus Theme Song right after some early 90’s hip-hop classics from Kriss-Kross or the Beastie Boys?

A highlight in the 39 song playlist is the Quad City Dj’s “C’mon N’ Ride It (The Train)” a mid 90’s dance song that’ll get you up off your SkyTrain Seat and busting a move. Be sure to check out Albert Hammond Jr’s aptly named “In Transit” if you’re into alternative rock.
