Take transit to Imagine Picasso in Vancouver, on now until Jan. 8, 2022

It’s time to ride on and reconnect to the people and places that you love.

Fall in love with Imagine Picasso, an immersive exhibition that’s projecting more than 200 of the most renowned pieces by famed Spanish artist Pablo Picasso.

His works are dispersed across private collections, as well as museums in cities such as Paris, Barcelona, New York and Moscow. Picasso’s works are also designated as national treasures, which means they cannot travel or be loaned. This makes the exhibition the first time Picasso’s pieces are all shown together.

Imagine Picasso is on now until Jan. 8, 2022 at the Vancouver Convention Centre – East Building, steps away from the SkyTrain and SeaBus’s Waterfront Station. If you’re arriving on the Expo Line or SeaBus, leave the station from the Howe Street exit, or use the Granville Street exit from the Canada Line platforms.

Taking transit to the exhibition is easy! To pay your transit fare, just tap your contactless American Express, Mastercard and Visa credit cards or mobile wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay) on Compass readers onboard buses and at faregates.

Tap in only on buses, and tap in and out at SkyTrain stations and SeaBus terminals. Your credit card or mobile device will be your proof of payment, and you will have 90 minutes to transfer across bus, SeaBus and SkyTrain services.

Want to unlock discounted transit rates? Pick up a Compass Card. If you’re taking transit from outside the City of Vancouver, travel after 6:30 p.m. on weekdays or all day on weekends/holidays to pay only a one-zone fare.
