Dine the Line returns to tantalize your tastebuds

We’re cooking up something delicious on the TransLink system.

Dine the Line is back! Launched in 2019 with West Coast Food, the initiative encourages transit ridership while promoting local restaurants and breweries in communities across the region.

This year’s Dine the Line features six new unique themes reflecting current culinary trends and worldwide cuisines. It also returns with an expanded travel menu that includes SkyTrain, RapidBus, and SeaBus routes to help customers enjoy even more diverse dining destinations around Metro Vancouver.

New Dine the Line themes

Each theme features a specific itinerary and downloadable route map.

“The Dine the Line itineraries are a great way for diners of all budgets to support our rich culinary communities,” explains Royce Chwin, Destination Vancouver President and CEO. “Metro Vancouver has long enjoyed a reputation of being a city where globally-inspired culinary talent creates fresh and exciting dining concepts.”

Whether you’re grabbing brunch in Langley, going plant-based in Yaletown, or sipping bubble tea in Burnaby, there are plenty of tantalizing trips available by transit.

“Dine the Line is the perfect way to get out there and explore our communities,” says TransLink CEO Kevin Quinn. “Our region is full of excellent dining options in vibrant neighbourhoods that are all accessible by transit; so we’re encouraging our customers to support local businesses that may have struggled over the last few years.”

So load up that Compass Card and take a journey aboard transit to explore your community’s culinary scene!

Customers can share their experiences on social media by using #DinetheLine for a chance to win gift cards and preloaded DayPasses to ride transit.
