Take transit to a BC Lions game

A SkyTrain crossing by BC Place Stadium

If you’re gearing up to cheer on your favorite CFL team at BC Place Stadium, we’ve got the inside scoop on the best way to get there: taking transit. Avoid the stress of navigating traffic, hunting and paying for parking, and instead, use these options to get to the game instead.

Bike

Cycling is easier than ever with the FREE BC Place bicycle valet service– simply ride on over to Gates C or H and drop off your bike with one of the staff. This service opens two hours before the game starts, so you’ll have plenty of time to sit down, grab some snacks and enjoy the pre-game entertainment!

Wondering how to get to the game by bike? Check out our recommended bike route planner and choose a path based on your comfort level.

SkyTrain

It’s a quick five-minute walk from Stadium–Chinatown Station, or 10-minute walk from Yaletown–Roundhouse Station, and you can get to the game with ease using SkyTrain.

Pro tip: Skip the ticket lines and go right to the faregate by pre-loading your Compass Card or by simply tapping your contactless Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Interac Debit card right at the fare gate!

Bus

There are several buses near the stadium.  The 6 Davie/Downtown, 23 Main St Station/English Bay, and 257 Horseshoe Bay/Vancouver Express, are all under a 7-minute walk to the game.

Be sure to check translink.ca/alerts to get the most up-to-date information on your buses and potential service impacts.

We’re looking forward to helping you cheer on the BC Lions this season and can’t wait to take you there. Go Lions go!
