Take transit to the Vancouver Pride Festival, July 26-Aug. 4

Vancouver is about to get even brighter and more colourful this summer with the return of the Vancouver Pride Festival! The festival runs from Friday, July 26 to Sunday, Aug. 4.
It’s expected to be the biggest Pride season Vancouver’s seen, starting with dynamic events in Davie Village and ending with the crowd-favourite, the Pride Parade.
There is a plethora of Pride events to enjoy throughout the week, including VanPrideFest, a free two-day outdoor festival filled with performances from local and global drag stars.
The return of the Granville Island Lounge transforms Granville Island into “Queer haven.” Enjoy performances from stand-up comics and DJs, and do activities like drawing and gaming.
Whichever event you plan to attend, taking transit in downtown Vancouver will take away your parking worries. You can also incorporate cycling and driving then taking transit for ease. We have plenty of bike parking options and Park and Ride lots near transit.
Here are all the events during the Vancouver Pride Festival and how to take transit there!
