Fall Go By Bike Week returns from Sept. 23 to Oct. 6, bringing seasoned cyclists and new riders together to make the most of cycling around Metro Vancouver and celebrate the cycling community.

Presented by HUB Cycling, there are events, prizes and great cycling experiences to be had as part of this community event.

Cycling is a great way to see your city and one of the fastest ways, especially in more urban areas. Combine cycling with transit, and you’ve got an even more extensive network to explore.

There are many benefits to cycling beyond just shortening your commute. It’s also good for your heart, muscles and balance. If you’ve been thinking about trying it out, Go By Bike Week is a fantastic time to get started.

Free bike maintenance, cycling info, and snacks at Go by Bike Week celebration stations

Visit one of the 20 (!) Celebration Stations across Metro Vancouver during the week, with many including snacks and cycling resources, as well as 10-minute bike maintenance sessions.

These stations also consist of cycling events and meetups, so you’re bound to find one you will enjoy visiting. They’re a great place to connect with fellow riders if you’re new to the sport. Celebration Stations taking place in the morning also include free coffee!
