Take transit to the Vancouver Pride Parade, Aug. 3

Vancouver Pride Weekend is happening Aug. 1–3, and the highlight is the Vancouver Pride Parade and Davie Village Pride Fest on Sunday, Aug. 3. Expect a sea of colour, music, and celebration as the city comes together to support the 2SLGBTQAI+communities and honour love, diversity, and inclusion.

Skip the parking hassles and make your journey to the Vancouver Pride part of the experience. SkyTrain and bus will get you close to all the festivities.

How to get to the Vancouver Pride Parade

📅 Date: Sunday, Aug. 3
🕑 Time: 1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
📍 Location: Pacific Street and Pacific Boulevard. between Burrard Street and B.C. Place

Don’t forget: transit is just a one-zone fare after 6:30 p.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends/holidays. You can tap to pay an adult cash fare using a contactless credit or debit card. Vancouver Pride is an all-ages event, so if you’re travelling with children remember, kids under 12 ride transit for free every day.

The SkyTrain stations closest the parade route are Stadium–Chinatown Station (Expo Line), Burrard Station (Expo Line) and Yaletown–Roundhouse Station (Canada Line).

Burrard Station is about a 20-minute walk to one end of the parade route at Burrard Street and Pacific Street, while Stadium–Chinatown Station is a 10-minute walk to the other. Yaletown–Roundhouse Station is steps from Pacific Boulevard and Davie Street, which is the roughly the parade’s midpoint.

For customers arriving at Waterfront Station, transfer to a bus along Granville Street to reach the parade route on Pacific Street and and Pacific Boulevard.

Don’t miss the Davie Village Pride Festival

After a six-year hiatus, this iconic street festival is back and bigger than ever. On Sunday, Aug. 3, Davie Village will come alive for the grand finale of Vancouver Pride Weekend.

🕑 Time: 2 p.m. – 10 p.m. (Nelson Park activities from 2 – 9 p.m.)
📍 Location: Davie Street (Burrard Street to Jervis Street) and Nelson Park
