How to get there by transit
Car Free Day: Port Moody takes place on St. Johns Street, between Queens and Moody streets.
Moody Centre Station is just a short walk or roll to the cross streets. You can ride the SkyTrain’s Millennium Line to Moody Centre Station, or ride buses such as the 160, 180, 181, 182, 183 and 184.
Pro tip: transit is just a one-zone fare all day on weekends/holidays. You can tap to pay an adult cash fare using a contactless credit or debit card. Bringing the whole crew? Remember, kids under 12 ride transit for free every day, so make it a family outing!
How to get there by cycling
Riding your bike to Car Free Day: Port Moody is easier than ever!
With funding through TransLink’s Local Government Funding Programs, the city recently completed a new multi-use pathway along St. Johns Street, which is the Port Moody’s first protected bike route.
Once you’re there, park your bike at the Bike Valet for free during the event. A bike valet is like a coat check, but for your bike. They accept bikes of all shapes and sizes, including tandem bikes, cargo bikes and e-bikes, and even strollers.
