Fandom family — we’re ready to take you to another Fan Expo Vancouver on Feb. 14–16 (Saturday to Monday) at Vancouver Convention Centre, steps away from Waterfront and Burrard stations.

Hosted by the largest comic con producer in the world, Fan Expo Vancouver offers exciting attractions, events, and tons of shopping selection for sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming fans. It’s also a chance to meet (and take photos with) world-renowned celebrities!

This year, Fan Expo Vancouver brings celebrity guests from Lord of the Rings, Stranger Things, Harry Potter, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Of course, this also includes celebrity dogs — Peggy the Dog from Deadpool is making an appearance on all three days.

Fan Expo Vancouver details

  • Date and time: 14–16
    • Saturday, Feb. 14 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
    • Sunday, Feb. 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
    • Monday, Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Event schedule
  • Admission: Passes start at $41 for a single-day adult admission (Monday). Other passes include multi-day, family passes, youth single day, and child passes.

Fan Expo Vancouver has a jam-packed schedule, so expect lots of attendees and plan your trip accordingly. Transit is a convenient choice with the venue located near two transit hubs, Waterfront and Burrard stations, and with several buses running nearby.

How to take transit to Fan Expo Vancouver

Paying for transit is easy. If you don’t have a Compass Card, simply tap your contactless debit or credit (Visa, Mastercard, or American Express) card or mobile wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay). Remember, one card per rider.

If you’re bringing kids ages 12 and under, they ride transit free!

  • Venue: Vancouver Convention Centre (West Building), 1055 Canada Place
  • By SkyTrain’s Canada Line: Ride the Canada Line to Waterfront Station and use the Cordova Street exit at the station. The venue is about a 10-minute walk from there.
  • By SkyTrain’s Expo Line: Ride the Expo Line to Waterfront Station. If using the Millennium Line, switch to the Expo Line at Commercial–Broadway Station. While at the Waterfront Station platform, use the Howe St exit. The venue is about a 10-minute walk from there.
  • By SeaBus: North Vancouver residents can catch the SeaBus from Lonsdale Quay to Waterfront Station. The venue is about a 10-minute walk from there.
  • By bus: There are several bus routes that run near the venue. Find the best one for you using our Trip Planner. Here are some routes to start:
    • R5 Hastings St RapidBus to Burrard Station. The venue is about a 10-minute walk.
    • 240, 246, 250, 253 to Georgia and Bute St. The venue is about a 13-minute walk.
    • 19 to Pender and Thurlow St. The venue is about an 8-minute walk.
