Help shape the future of accessible transit at TransLink
Help shape the future of accessible transit at TransLink
At TransLink, we believe everyone should be able to move around our region with confidence and comfort. That’s why accessibility is at the heart of how we plan and deliver transit services and why we’re updating our Accessibility Plan.
We’re inviting you to be part of the conversation online, or by phone.
What is the TransLink Accessibility Plan?
The TransLink Accessibility Plan outlines the actions we’re taking to identify, reduce, and remove barriers for people who use our services. Under the Accessible BC Act, public organizations like TransLink are required to update their Accessibility Plans every three years.
Our current plan was published in September 2023 and has been open for feedback since then. As we begin work on the 2026 update, we’re highlighting this opportunity for customers, communities, and stakeholders to share their experiences and ideas.
Share Your Feedback: April 8 – May 8, 2026
From April 8 to May 8, 2026, TransLink is seeking any additional feedback on the 2023 Accessibility Plan as we start work to update it. During this time, you can let us know what’s working well, what could be improved, and where barriers still exist.
All feedback received during the comment period will help inform our update to the Accessibility Plan, which will be published online in fall 2026.
Why Your Voice Matters
We’re especially interested in hearing from people with lived experience of disability, accessibility barriers, or systemic challenges.
Your insights help us understand what’s making a real difference, and where we can do better.
Our goals for this engagement are simple:
- Inform: Share information about the 2023 Accessibility Plan, the timeline for the 2026 update, and how to provide input.
- Consult: Listen to individuals and groups to identify new or ongoing barriers to accessing TransLink services.
