Book fair at the BC Historical Federation conference
Book fair at the BC Historical Federation conference
It turns out the BC Historical Federation’s annual conference starts today, and its focus is transportation!
Sadly, it’s too late to register (the deadline was April 15) but they will be hosting a book fair that’s open to the public tomorrow, Friday May 7.
Here’s the details:
Location: The Plaza 500 Hotel, 12th & Cambie, in Vancouver.
The Book Fair will be open to the public on May 7 from 12:00 noon – 5:00 pm.
If anyone attends the conference and has photos or stories to share, e-mail me!
Jhenifer, when someone posts a comment on the blog and wordpress sends you an e-mail to let you know that someone has posted a comment, how can you figure out which post the comment was posted on?
The e-mail has a link to the original post in it.
Please Ric, it would be much appreciated if you could reduce the number of questions you ask. Some of the answers you ask for can be answered by reading earlier answers and making logical inferences, or by looking around the Internet. Bear in mind that the volume of your questions takes up a great amount of work and time on my part. I do my best but I cannot guarantee you answers to everything, and it is always best if you take the first few steps and try to answer questions yourself first.
Jhen, you already told me about this when we met at the AGM. Yes, I will try to reduce to amount of questions I ask and will read through posts and comments before asking questions in the future. In the event that I do ask questions, I will be patient when waiting for answers.
I didn’t really realize the amount of work it takes you to get answers to questions until you told me at the AGM when we met.
My interest in the transit system and buses tends to lead to lots of questions.
I hope you understand this.
Ric.
Thanks Ric, it’s good to know you’re hearing me.
