Runners will be pounding the pavements again this weekend, this time as part of the Vancouver Sun Run on Sunday May 9.

If you’re attending, Expo and Millennium SkyTrain lines will start 30 minutes early to get you there, with rush-hour service for the large crowds. (The first train leaves King George at 6:38 a.m.)

SeaBus will also start one hour early (7:01 a.m. from Lonsdale Quay) with 15 minute service until mid-afternoon.

West Coast Express is also operating a ‘Sun Run’ train, departing Mission at 7 a.m. and returning from Waterfront at 1 p.m.

There will also be a number of bus reroutes to accommodate the Sun Run path.
Routes affected include the 4, 5, 7, 10, 15, 16, 17, 19, 22, 50, 84, 135, 240, 242, C21 and C23. Check the Alerts page for the most updated information; I’ve also pasted them below.
