Weekend bus reroute for the Ladner Village Market, Sunday August 8
August 5, 2010
Phew—after the busy long weekend, the upcoming weekend is much quieter!
Just one event will be prompting a bus reroute, and that’s the Ladner Village Market, held on Sunday August 8.
From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., the market will be on, meaning 48th Avenue in Ladner will be closed for the event. The #C86 will be detoured to accommodate. Have a great time at the market!

Hi Jhen! I have a question about the new Buzzer brochures that were available this morning for distribution in the depot bullpen… (I put 24 out on my bus this a.m.)
There is a 1990 photo in conjuction to the first wheelchair/lift equipped buses going into service. My question is who is the older gentleman in the photo? At first I thought maybe Stu Hodgens, but that is not Stu….
Thaks for your time!
Never mind Jhen…. I found it myself by going into the Buzzer archives..
Well don’t leave us in suspense! Who is he ? :)
Mayor DON LANSKAIL, then chairman of the Vancouver Regional Transit System…
I just remember Stu Hodgens (spelling?) was the head of BC Transit around that time…
