Evergreen means GO! Exploring the Evergreen Extension with your help
Do you live, work or play around the new Evergreen Extension?
You do? That’s great!
Not only will you have more efficient options to connect with the rest of the Metro Vancouver transit network starting December 2, but you’ll also be able to help us out with a fun new Buzzer blog series!
We’re looking for suggestions from Tri-Cities residents and riders like you to help us explore the Evergreen Extension.
From favourite sushi joints to juice bars; coffee spots to the best parks and recreational activities.
We will feature your suggestions right here on the blog and share across our other social channels in preparation for the opening of Evergreen.
Comment below or email us with the subject line “Evergreen Explorer” to tell us where we should go along the Evergreen Extension to highlight these great communities!

You can visit the only Arby’s left in the lower mainland via the Evergreen line at Lincoln Station. It is in the mall.
Maybe someone should check the upside down “L” pillar on the Coquitlam mall side of Barnet highway, seems the area to cross Barnet Highway that was recently paved is sinking and pooling water. Hopefully the pillar isn’t sinking and taking the island down.
The restaurants on Glen Dr. are great! Tacoreano is one of my new favourites in the Tri-Cities area.
I live in Newton and don’t live in the Tri-Cities but have travelled extensively throughout Metro Vancouver on TransLink.
I was wondering how I would get from King George Station onto Evergreen. I guess I would need to transfer at Columbia to go in the other direction then transfer at Lougheed or Production but Production is on the same platform I understand with the extension of the Expo Line?
My girlfriend & I are planning on also taking the Sea Bus to the North Shore and maybe Horseshoe Bay and then take Canada Line to the Airport or Tsawwassen Feries and come back to where she lives in South Surrey on the 351.
The restaurants in the mall are budget friendly.
Mega Donair on Clarke at 912 Clarke Rd is super. They have a donair which is called the Mega Donair which they ran contests in the past to see who could finish it.
The closest station to there is Burquitlam however the C24 Community Shuttle will stop close by. It’s at Clarke & Seaview. A short walk from the stop at Clarke & Glenayre.
Next is Rocky Point Park with Pajo’s the Boathouse and Rocky Point Ice Cream. This is located at Moody Centre Station.
A short distance up is the library and Newport Village nearby the Inlet Centre Station.
At Lincoln Station there is Henderson Square.
The college has a good cafeteria at Lafarge Lake Douglas and you can walk around the lake.
