In November, the Pattullo Bridge deck was inspected after a major rehabilitation that took place this past summer.

Now, it’s time for another inspection as part of the warranty of the work carried out on the bridge.

This work requires daylight therefore the Pattullo Bridge overnight safety-lane closure on Saturday, January 21 will be extended so crews can inspect the bridge deck on Sunday, January 22.

There will be single-lane traffic in each direction from 10 p.m. on Saturday, January 21 until 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 22.

If you’re driving across Pattullo this weekend, you may experience traffic delays and traffic pattern changes as crews inspect each lane of the bridge.

Intermittent railing repair work will continue to be done until Spring 2017. While those crews work overnight, safety-lane closures will begin one hour earlier, running from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday to Thursday each week.

TransLink will continue to regularly inspect the bridge and make necessary repairs in the future to maintain safety and functionality.

A big THANK YOU to drivers for your patience while we continue the rehabilitation work to keep the Pattullo Bridge safe for all users.
