Bus Route Buzz: Tri-Cities
Welcome back buzzer readers to the first Spring Service Changes post of Bus Route Buzz!
Today we’re taking a look at some of the changes coming to Tri-Cities routes plus a seasonal favourite returning for the highly anticipated summer weather!
We heard you!
There have been instances of overcrowding and pass ups on a few routes in the Tri-Cities since the opening of Evergreen Extension.
We have been monitoring these routes closely and taking your feedback via social media, feedback forms and community events very seriously. Thank you for being a part of the conversation and helping us deliver the best service possible!
Our planning department has assessed the issues and have made changes to better serve the riders of these areas.

April 24 New schedule for 180: Service does not run every 15 minutes from 9 a.m.-3 p.m weekdays as mentioned in Buzz. South bound schedule: 2:10 – 2:30 pm (20 minutes), 2:30 – 3:02 pm (32 minutes). Should add a bus at 2:45 pm.
Before Feb 24th, frequency was 30 minutes in the midday. After Feb 24th, the midday frequency was increased to every 10-20 minutes. On April 24th, the midday frequency will be adjusted slightly to have more even 15 minute headways. Headways are the time between each trip and this way, we’ve smoothed out the schedule to provide a more even frequency.
