Fall Service Changes

Bus Route Buzz

While the vast majority of Metro Vancouver continues to enjoy the final months of summer sun, sand and surf, we’re working hard behind the scenes to prepare for fall service changes at TransLink. With back-to-school upon us, we’re focused on improving service to post-secondary schools including UBC, SFU, BCIT and Capilano University. We’re also bringing more frequent connections to SkyTrain to help move you quicker and more efficiently through the region.

Beginning September 4, growing communities in Surrey, Langley and Maple Ridge are getting more transit options.  This is the single largest bus service increase as part of Phase One of the 10-Year Vision. We are delivering 105,000 new service hours!

Our Bus Route Buzz series, we will continue to provide an in-depth look at maps, schedules and route changes for this season, as well as our increasingly popular #DenisThePlanner videos with our in-house planning expert. Stay tuned as we continue to roll out even more as improvements as part of the 10-Year Vision over the next two years.

These changes are a part of our regular, seasonal service changes that occur four times each year in April, June, September and December to bring more service to more people with the resources available.

Fall service changes start Monday, September 4. Learn more about bus improvements at translink.ca/servicechanges
