On this day in Buzzer Blog history: October 30, 2009 plus a fun poll!
Welcome back to On this day in Buzzer Blog history, a look back at the way things were. Today’s post takes us back to a Friday fun post where we asked if you’ve ever forgotten to buy a FareCard at month’s end — then boarded transit without valid fare?
A whopping 52% of you answered Yes.
While this answer seems relatively high, those were pre-Compass Card days, before the implementation of benefits such as Auto-Load and compasscard.ca where you can purchase, load and reload your Compass Card online!
Today, we’re curious to know how you reload get your Monthly Pass.

My wife and daughter’s are both autoloaded each month. I don’t use a monthly pass, but autoloads when I get below $5. In one way it’s great because you don’t have to worry about not having a fare, but it is also easy to overuse the bus, because you don’t think about the paying part.
