The West Coast Express Santa Train is back on track again, benefiting community toy bureaus! It’s a great kick-off to the holiday season and such a worthy cause.
Please bring your entire family and invite all your friends on Saturday, Dec. 8 and 15, and help make Christmas brighter for kids in your community!
Bring along a new, unwrapped toy donation (should be similar in value to a WCE ticket), which will go to the station’s local Christmas Bureau. It’s a great way to give back to families in your community this holiday season, and will get your friends and family a round trip ticket.
The Santa Train departs Mission City at 10 a.m. and stops at all WCE stations chugging along the way. Once in Vancouver, you can enjoy a day of holiday sights and sounds before returning home from Waterfront Station at 4 p.m. Yule definitely express your happiness, we know!
The North Pole Station (at Waterfront) will be open at 2:45 p.m. for holiday activities and a photo op’ with Santa. The generous folks at Dairyland will also be providing a taste of eggnog while you wait for your trip home! If you plan to take the train on December 15, don’t forget to pop by our Pop-Up shop at Waterfront Station (Dec 13-15) to get your hands on some cool and NEW transit-themed merchandise!
In the spirit of giving, we’re giving away 12 Days of great prizes with the 12 Days of Giftmas! Visit the translink.ca/12Days to find out how you can win a series of exciting tickets, PLUS, the much-coveted Compass wristbands!
