A small pie beside a Compass Card

March 14 or 3/14 marks International Pi Day. Pi Day is not just an annual opportunity for math enthusiasts to recite the infinite digits of π (pi) and talk to their friends about math, it’s also a great day to stuff your face with all of the pie!

While Pi may be irrational, our love of pie is not, so we’re giving you a list of 7 transit-friendly stops to get pie this Pi Day.

The Pie Hole

No better place to stuff your face than – The Pie Hole! From dinner pies to after dinner pies, The Pie Hole pushes the boundaries of where pie crust can (and will) take you. Their two locations are served by route 08 (Fraser), and route 101 and 106 (Burnaby).

Savary Island Pie Company

Founder Eileen Walkem-Hall got her start as many little girls do – behind the glass of her Easy Bake Oven. This little gem is serviced by route 250, 251, 252, 253, 255 and 256.

Lime & Moon Pie Company

Amazing sweet, savoury, gluten-free, vegan and raw pies prepared fresh, in-house every day isn’t the only thing that sets Lime & Moon Pie Company apart from the rest. Each recipe is made by hand in small batches using locally sourced, certified organic ingredients. And if that’s not enough, they are proud to operate their business with a zero-waste philosophy! Take Canada Line to Yaletown–Roundhouse Station, or  bus route 23 or 06 to get there.

El Dorado Pies & Treats

Made with only the finest ingredients, El Dorado Pies and Treats has something for everyone. This little food stall in the Lonsdale Quay market packs a big punch. Serviced by the SeaBus and a variety of buses, there’s a host of transit friendly ways to get there!
