Holiday Service for Labour Day Weekend
Holiday Service for Labour Day Weekend
Monday, September 2 is Labour Day, and it marks the last long weekend of the summer before many Metro Vancouver residents head back to work and school. We’re giving you a heads up that holiday service will be in effect before getting back to the ebb and flow of your daily routine.
Key points about upcoming holiday service:
- Bus, SkyTrain, and SeaBus services will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule.
- West Coast Express will not operate.
- The Compass Customer Service Centre and Lost Property Office will be closed.
That also means that holiday fares will be in effect, which means you can travel across all zones on a one-zone fare all day long! (Please note the 90 min transfer window is effective as soon as you make your first tap into the system).
Also, a friendly reminder that we’re taking your commute to the next level with our Fall Service changes beginning on September 2 & 3. Expect more SeaBus, more SkyTrain and more bus service, including double-decker bus service!
For more information on our fall service change visit our Transit Service Changes page.
Service returns to regular weekday schedules for all modes on Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019.
