Spring service changes start on April 12, 2021
Our service changes happen every April, June, September, and January so we can make our service more efficient and responsive to our customers’ needs and help them get around the region.
This year, Spring Service Changes will kick off on Monday, April 12, 2021.
The highlights include:
- Adding seasonal service on 10 routes to Deep Cove, English Bay, and White Pine Beach to help you enjoy the warmer weather.
- Adding service to 29 routes, including 19 routes in Surrey and North Delta to give you more space and reliable commutes.
- Adjusting the schedule on 14 routes to balance changes in ridership demand. Customers can expect service every 15 minutes or better on these routes during rush hours.
- We’re consolidating and removing bus stops that are too close together on routes 17 and 25. To learn more about these changes visit the Bus Stop Balancing page.
We are also updating how customers can access bus timetables through the following new methods:
- By mail, upon request
- To ensure that customers unable to access digital materials have access to timetables, customers can now have printed timetables mailed to them upon request by phoning Customer Information at 604-953-3333.
- By email subscription
- Customers can now subscribe to be notified of seasonal service changes by email here.
- By scanning QR codes at key locations:
- QR codes at key transit locations and at partner locations can be scanned to show our regional timetables page.
Customers may notice some trip planning services are unavailable while we continue to bring our systems back online following a cybersecurity incident in December. This includes real-time NextBus, TransLink Trip Planner, and TransLink Alert updates. We encourage customers use Google Trip Planner or call Customer Information at 604.953.3333 to help plan their trip.
