TransLink is studying a potential Millennium Line UBC Extension to better connect the region and meet transit demand all along the Broadway Corridor today and well into the future.
From April 19 to May 14, 2021, we are sharing information and seeking feedback on two key topics:
- Project values to better understand priorities, opportunities, and considerations regarding a potential SkyTrain extension to UBC
- Criteria to help assess potential route and station location options
Your feedback will help us confirm the objectives of a potential SkyTrain extension and evaluate possible route options and station locations.

Yes!!! I absolutely support skytrain to UBC! More buses and cars off the road. Making it easier for tens of thousands of students and staff to get to the school daily.
Yes – less cars, more public transit.
Anyone who catches the 99 would fully support this.
The 99 B Line is effective. Why does it need a billion dollar replacement?
There are still many parts of BC still lacking effective transit.
An $8 Billion mega project just for UBC? Broadway businesses are closing as the economy moves online….the buses are almost empty now outside of the peak hours
100%
I fully support this to be priority and will eventually be built either way, but believe extension of the expo line into Langley and beyond is just as, if not more important but to delay or focus on a different route before even beginning the last one is inadequate balance of planning. Eventually we would look to expand more and I see the Evergreen Line extending back around Burrard inlet and up towards the sea to sky. Trains could pass thru Waterfront station and fly around the inlet above the pre existing tracks all the way out passed Pitt river and beyond. I believe that this was the last frontier and compared to the rest of Canada and the world has seen the least amount spent on infrastructure such as transportation like trains, on top of that Vancouver is more or less the second most expensive place to live. From a global perspective has capitol interests and should be treaded and respected as such.
Should have happened a looooooooong time ago. We are one of the few major cities without rapid transit to universities, and we need it.
Build it!!! Should’ve happened long time ago.
