Kevin Quinn, TransLink’s Chief Executive Officer, is among 500 distinguished leaders in British Columbia who have been recognized in Business in Vancouver‘s BC500.

The BC500 features business leaders who have a notable impact on B.C.’s communities, industries and economy.

They are visionaries, innovators and trailblazers. They embody the values of modern leadership: engagement, trust, corporate citizenship, inclusion and innovation. Some of them are household names; some of them are well known within their industries. All of them influence life and business in British Columbia.

Kevin was named a leader in Logistics and Transportation within the Industry category.

As TransLink’s CEO, he oversees the management, planning, financing, and delivery of a growing world-class transportation network. This includes bus, SkyTrain, SeaBus, HandyDART, and West Coast Express transit services. It also includes five regional bridges, walking and cycling paths, and the Major Road Network.

Kevin joined TransLink earlier this summer after previously serving as Administrator and Chief Executive Officer of the Maryland Transit Administration (MTA). The MTA is one of the largest multi-modal transit systems in the U.S. with six transit modes, including buses, subway, light rail, paratransit, and commuter bus and rail. He also oversaw the construction of a new 25-kilometre light rail line outside Washington, D.C., which is currently the largest transit public-private partnership in the U.S.
