Take transit to: the Shipyards Festival

The Shipyards District in North Vancouver

We’re proud to sponsor the Shipyards Festival at Lower Lonsdale, a free event in North Vancouver this Saturday, September 25th. With live music, family activities, beer gardens, vendors, and more this day of fun in Lonsdale is a must visit if you’re looking for a good time this weekend.

Live Music

Headlining the festival are Canadian bands Bedouin Soundclash and Vancouver’s own The Zolas. Bedouin Soundclash is best known for their upbeat, reggae-esque indie rock. They reached commercial success on the Canadian charts with the instantly recognizable “When the Night Feels my Song”.

The Zolas have been making music together since 2003. They’re currently touring promoting their latest album Come Back to Life which was released in July. They broke through with their 2013 album “Ancient Mars” reaching mainstream radio play on modern rock radio stations nationwide.

Also performing are Astrocolor, IAMTHELIVING, XL The Band, Harlequin Gold and more! Check out the whole lineup here.
