Are you a ghost in search of a dry haunting ground this Halloween? A witch looking to get to the best trick-or-treat spots more efficiently than via broomstick? We at TransLink encourage all creatures of the night to take public transit, particularly on their special day of the year.

Here’s a guide for all ghouls, ghosts, zombies, and even superheroes (can’t leave out the good guys!) to take transit out to the best, most haunted trick-or-treating locations in Metro Vancouver!

Plan your trip using our Trip Planner at translink.ca/tripplanner. Sign up for Transit Alerts at translink.ca/alerts and we’ll let you know by text or email if there are any changes to your transit route.

If you don’t already have a costume, take extra care when choosing one, especially when travelling on transit. Prop swords and knives could be mistaken for the real thing. Keep yourself, and those around you safe so if you’re unsure, leave it at home.

Friendly reminder that consuming alcohol in public is illegal. This includes SkyTrain stations and on-board buses, SkyTrain, Canada Line, SeaBus and West Coast Express. If you are on your way to an event and are carrying alcohol, be sure the container remains closed until you arrive at your destination.

And most importantly, have fun!

Happy Halloween!
