Bike Bus is back for summer service!
Bike Bus is back for summer service!
The Bike Bus returns with extended hours!
Bike Bus service provides extra capacity for bicycles — from the standard two to nine aboard each bus — between Bridgeport Station and the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal.
We listened to customers who used the service when it launched last year. It will now run later to better align with ferry schedules.
Bike Bus details
- June 30 to September 4, 2023
- In service Fridays, weekends, and holidays from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- Operating between Bridgeport Station and Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal
- Hourly departures to align with ferry sailings
Summer Service Changes
The return of the Bike Bus is part of our Summer Service Changes, which begin on June 26.
We’re seasonally increasing service on 11 bus routes to outdoor destinations around the region — including Stanley Park, White Pine Beach, and White Rock — to meet customer demand.
Some of the seasonal increases include:
- Routes 5 Robson/Downtown and 6 Davie/Downtown
- Route 150 Coquitlam Central Station/White Pine Beach
- Route 262 Lions Bay/Caulfield
- Route 362 Seaside/White Rock Centre
Go car-free this summer and bike, walk, ride, and roll to your favourite summer spots.
Plan your journey with Trip Planner, sign up for Transit Alerts, follow @TransLink on Twitter, or call Customer Information at 604.953.3333.
Go to translink.ca/servicechanges for more information on specific route increases.
Transit service changes occur every January, April, June, and September. They are based on seasonal patterns and recent trends in customer demand.
We’ll continue monitoring ridership to ensure service is provided where it’s needed most.
Hi, elsewhere on the Translink website, info states the 900 service for 2024 starts Fri June 28. Can you clarify whether the 30th here is a typo or if people need to change plans to a 620 on the Fri/Sat of the upcoming long weekend?
