It’s biking season and we want to help you make the most of it! In addition to the many ways to park your bike near transit, you can now also store your bikes for free in downtown Vancouver at the Vancouver City Centre Bike Valet this summer. It’s open daily from June 19 to September 1.

Like a coat-check service, Bike Valet staff will tag your bike and provide you with a claim stub for retrieving your bike. Onsite staff will look out for your bikes while you attend events or roam around the city.

Bike Valet accommodates bikes, e-bikes, e-scooters, adaptive bikes, cargo bikes, bike trailers, strollers, and other personal mobility devices. You may also leave your helmet and pannier!

  • 📆 Open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and weekends from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
    • Any bikes not picked up after operating hours will be removed but can be retrieved for a $25 fee.
  • 📍 Near SkyTrain’s Vancouver City Centre Station (corner of Georgia and Granville Street)

While you’re there, take some sustainable transportation resources like the City of Vancouver’s pocket maps and TransLink’s Regional Cycling Maps. You can also register for Project 529, a program that allows cyclists to register their bikes for recovery and report bike thefts.

The free bike valet service at Vancouver City Centre Station is made possible through our partnership with Cadillac Fairview, the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association, the City of Vancouver, and BEST – Bike Valet.

You can also find other Bike Valet locations this summer at events like Car Free Days, BC Place sports games, and many summer festivals.

Our Bike Parkades are also another option for parking your bike. The facility is only accessible to registered customers and CCTV cameras monitor the facility 24/7.
