Ride with Pride at the Vancouver Pride Parade!
Ride with Pride at the Vancouver Pride Parade!
Let’s reconnect and ride with Pride at the Vancouver Pride Parade on Sunday, August 6! We’re sprinkling this fabulous festivity with vibrancy featuring drag queens and dancers voguing with the TransLink team, a historical transit bus, and our first Pride bus with an art wrap designed by a distinguished local artist.
Look out for us at the parade for a chance to receive Pride-themed TransLink souvenirs.
How to take transit to the parade
Busy downtown Vancouver streets mean limited parking so consider taking transit to the Vancouver Pride Parade on August 6! Here’s what you need to know:
- ? We’re increasing the Expo and Millennium Line service between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
- ? Some bus services will be rerouted for the Pride Parade. There’s limited service to the west side of downtown Vancouver, so make sure to plan for extra travel time.
- ? This year, the Vancouver Pride Society changed the parade route. The parade will now start at the intersection of Denman and Davie Street, continue along Beach Ave, and finish at BC Place.
- ? Sunday, August 6, noon–3 p.m.
- ? There are several routes that can take you near the parade starting point:
- Take any of these routes to Burrard and Davie and walk to Denman and Davie: 23 English Bay / Main Street Station and 6 Downtown / Davie
- Take any of these routes to Georgia and Denman and then walk to Denman and Davie: 19 Stanley Park, 246 Highland / Downtown, 240 Lyn Valley / Downtown, 250 Vancouver / Horseshoe Bay, and 257 Vancouver / Horseshoe Bay.
- ? Before you go, plan your trip using our Trip Planner and check for updates on your bus route at Transit Alerts.
